Breakbulk ships are suitable for special cargo, not containers. Container transportation is divided into FCL and LCL. So what is the meaning of FCL and LCL?

1. FBA sea freight acceleration (sea freight + express): support double clearing and tax package. After the goods are cleared at the port, they will be sent to the Amazon warehouse by express.

FBA FCL in the United States refers to three standard containers for Amazon sellers with a single shipment volume of 20-foot small container (20GP), 40-foot large container (40GP), and 40-foot high container (40HQ). The goods are transported by container sea transportation as the first journey, and after arriving at ports such as Los Angeles and New York in the United States to complete customs clearance, they will operate in accordance with the FBA warehousing standard, arrange an FBA warehousing appointment, and deliver to the designated FBA warehouse.
The steps of shipping FCL include: sales, quotation, receipt of power of attorney, booking of space and trailer, pick-up and loading of cabinets, customs declaration and handover of release documents, issuance of bills of lading, collection of freight charges, replacement of bills at destination and delivery of goods.

FBA sea freight LCL transportation
FBA LCL means that when the received goods are not enough for a whole container, the goods are classified according to the nature, destination, and category of the goods and shipped to the same destination. At present, there are two transportation methods for FBA LCL: direct consolidation and transshipment.
Direct Consolidation: The goods in the container are loaded and unloaded at the same port without unpacking, that is, the goods are at the same port of unloading. This kind of LCL service has a short delivery period and is convenient and fast. It is recommended to choose a direct route to improve timeliness.
Transshipment: The goods in the container are not at the same destination port, and need to be unpacked and unloaded or transshipped midway. The shipping time varies with the destination port.
FBA LCL freight = basic freight, the basic freight is calculated according to the maximum value between volume (X1) and weight (X2):
Calculated by volume, X1=unit basic freight (MTQ)×total volume
Calculated by weight, X2=unit basic freight (TNE)×total weight
Weight (W): in metric tons (T), also in long tons or short tons.
Volume (M): In cubic meters or 40 cubic feet, this billing standard is often used for light foam cargo.
